125 Years of Service Ride the Trafalgar Way


Military Veterans will be riding the Trafalgar Way from Falmouth to Admiralty Arch in London to raise money for the Military v Cancer charity.

Starting on Monday 21st September the riders will follow the trail set by Lt John Richards Lapenotiere when he took the news of the Royal Navy victory at the battle of Trafalgar to London. The journey included changes of horses and carriages at various places that now form the Trafalgar Way.

At each location a commemorative plaque has been erected. [Click here for list of locations]

 

 

 

 

The Mayor of Falmouth, Councillor Alan Jewell will officially launch the charity bike ride on Sunday 20th September at 4pm at the starting plaque.
